"Relatively complex this. ... I'm noticing however that this is fresher, it's slightly rawer than my previous experience of Talisker, particularly Distillers Edition Talisker."
- Quite sweet and fruity for a Talisker. Not as smokey as most Taliskers, but has a great balance. Finish isn't very complex, but every sip is a flavor sensation with smoke and caramel. Delivers a good punch.
Smells ethereal. Floral. Little oak. Sherry. A bit spicy.
Light smoke. Sherry sweetness. Spicy. Light cinnamon.
Short finish. Sweet
- A delicious, round, consistent standard for a good price. If he had cask strength now and was not colored ...
Maritime smoke, dark fruit compote, caramelized pear, sweet and round, a harmonious uncomplicated nose ...
Also in the mouth as the first smoke, salty dark dried fruit as well as for the first time the taliskertische chili wort
Dry oak and the already recognizable Chilicatch in the mouth, medium long
Caramel and Sherry sweetness combined with an oceanside, brine smell. Pleasant, nothing major.
Sweet and peppery, smoked BBQ. Quite thick.
The smoke intensifies and keeps on building for like a minute. Combined with the still present sweetness, some honey, a very satisfying finish
