    Gorgeous color. Auburn.

An intense sherry nose. Violent and strong. No wonder.
    Old, damp wood.
    Sawdust.

The aroma continues in the mouth.
If you like Sherry, that's right!
    Ripe, spicy aromas without overstraining.

    Really good!

That was a really nice sherry bomb to my liking. And you can not complain about the price.
    • Nose
Red fruits, nutmeg, vanilla, pepper, hazelnut, caramel, nougat, straw, something, sulfur, peach
    • Taste
Oak, bittersweet chocolate, pepper, cinnamon, sulfur, red fruits, pleasantly spicy, clove, hay
    • Finish
Long and spicy, with dark chocolate and nougat.

No trace of boredom, but dynamic without end, the balance gaps are compensated by tension and power. A really great malt!

    Notes from a blind tasting.

Had typed a young Bruichladdich. I would have thought the Speyside Distillery no such quality. Already sad, if a distillate, which produce such barrels of real color, in which everything else is true, must mediocre fuel with tons of dye must move, then push him with false statements pushed for a far overpriced price in the market. (Bein Dubh)
    • Nose
Instant gum, heavily fermented and artificial-looking apple notes and prickly, young alcohol. After a short time smoke, quite medically, vanilla and caramel pudding paired with applesauce with cinnamon, covered apple pie. Again and again approaches of salt and various spices. Thyme, savory and cloves. The nose takes a tremendous amount of fog, even minutes after the glass is deposited, the flavors are still on the mucous membranes perceive. Heated, the same notes are noticeable, but even stronger. Legendary, you can not stop sniffing. The apples are then really warm, but the spices and the salt give the impression of a vegetable broth.
    • Taste
Unbelievable strength in the beginning, to honey sweet and spicy / salty together. Much white pepper and a lot of heat through the alcohol.
    • Finish
In the finish, it still warms in the throat and chest, while the honey sweetness goes only slowly, a slight aroma of apple gum accompanies the finish, no trace of oak, but also no metallic notes. A rosinous nut note stays on the palate for a long time, you can chew on it forever.

  4. Torfding scored this whisky 85 points Expert Senior

Tasty and a lot of sherry, dark color, great aroma, only the finish (better and longer with water) falls off.

Aroma: sweet and malty, warm, fruits, nuts
Taste: dark fruits, sweet sherry, nutty
    Finish: warm and medium length
