Color: White Wine
Nose: Not too much peat-smoke, a little bit ash, pretty good balanced, sweet, malt, dominant grain, toffee, caramel, slightly almonds
Palate: a little weak in my opinion, pretty sweet, grain again, caramel, oranges, getting bitter in the end
Finish: rather medium, not very spectacular, peaty, ashy, grainy, pretty fast over.
With water: even more grain in the nose, the palate on the other end gets even weaker, finish as well weaker
==> Kind of nice, but not the Bowmore you are starving for, if a collector of the "Wanted"-series a buy, otherwise: try it, but there are better expressions on the market.
Excursion: The front label shows Dr. Horst Luening, husband to the business owner of whisky.de, the largest German online whisky shop. He is doing an enormous number of online tasting notes in his very own manner.
