The bladi was a bit woody and mint with light tea notes. Light fruits but the wood was too tart for me

  2. Ostap scored this whisky 79 points Connoisseur

It was too small to be properly assessed, but enough not to regret it too much. Why did he keep it in the barrel for so long? Faceless, indistinct whisky.
    • Nose
      80 80
Significantly restrained aroma, mineral (not sea profile, but earthy, herbaceous, floral), vanilla, allspice, raisins in glaze (candy "Sea stones"), honey on honeycombs, apricot sour, raspberry leaves. Absolutely not alcoholic and very quiet aroma.
    • Taste
      78 78
Very peppery, frankly dry and severe, to bitterness.
    • Finish
      79 79
Pepper, dry, crispy, crunchy, white cherries, orange, raisins. It sounds good, even for a long time.

  4. ctu scored this whisky 85 points Connoisseur

A nice fruity and floral Bladnoch, especially the nose.
    • Nose
Floral. Exotic fruits, malt, citruses and honeyed nut.
    • Taste
Ripe fruits with honey, citruses, oak and pepper.
    • Finish
      Medium, spicy.

  5. lachaineduwhisky did not rate this whisky Expert Senior

Delicate, fruity, sweet nose. Pretty "irish" as a profile. Peaches, lychee, it smells like summer. In the mouth, ooh, too bright! Final on the fruits, with a little burned too. With water the alcoholic integration is ... less bad.

    Enthusiasm 3/5

  6. alex..w..fan scored this whisky 85 points Connoisseur

Light mint and flowers but with a strong bias in the bitter-pepper tone, and aftertaste on the same topic .. breathing in the nose improved and the body added) ... very good and well balanced!

    TASTING NOTE by G&M;

    WITH WATER:

Nose: Floral with hints of rose petals and parma violets. A slight malty edge

    with a hint of spearmint.

Palate: Dark chocolate with blueberries and rose water. A subtle hazelnut edge

    develops.

    Body: Light to medium.

    Finish: Medium to long.

    Cask Type(s): Refill Sherry Hogsheads.

    Whisky Style: Delicate Lowland malt.
