Bright, pepper whisky, with a haze and island character.
    • Nose
It is saturated with tones of iodine, spices, citruses and slightly rotted fruits, with subtle smoky nuances.
    • Taste
Pepper, salty, iodide, with a hint of smoked meat.
    • Finish
Of medium duration, dry, with echoes of salt, spices and iodine - at the beginning, with hints of rye bread, oak and phenols - at the end.

Weirdly lactic / cheesy and musty. I can see why Jura's not exactly a favorite with many.

This was actually a little better than what I expected from a Jura this young. It had a decent level of complexity and was very drinkable.

Good, good whisky is one of the chocolate sweeter and heavier, well patentable.

    • Taste
oily, great complex taste, bittersweet and salty to equal

      medium
