T: Its not totally unpleasant on arrival but its a rough ride thereafter. The perfumed Industrial spirit is occasionally subdued by the apple maltiness but spirity, floury, apple-talc soapiness is as good as it gets. Water helps to delay things for a longer more pleasant arrival and subsequent transition into the finish.
F: There are notes of Potpourri that attempt to readdress the earlier skirmish and thankfully the finish is somewhat its saving grace. The malt only shows its oaky maturity at the end, with a chalky mouthfeel.
C: Certainly better than G&M’s awful 1970 bottling of a similar age WB, but theres no much to see here either.
