What? Painting, engine oil? This first nose detonates! Accompanied by an average peat evoking cigarette smoke, then later the tire. These strange notes are happily packed and slowly converted into burned acre. Behind, sherry is slow to express itself, but when it does finally, it is very deep, with black fruits. I also detected raspberries.
The acrid smoke dominates and almost crushes the rest, initially. Ultra punchy! I was not ready for this Bowmore. Bright spices. Very fleshy, more and more same. Then, sweeter, thank you sherry.
Finally soothed, rather sweet, with incense and black fruits.
If the Bowmore Tempest series is the angelic side, this Devil Cask is definitely demonic! I liked but I was very destabilized by this almost aggressive peat, light years of the house style.
