- Very interesting whisky, unique in taste. I was very surprised. The light smoke is well integrated. I think the whisky is very harmonious due to its 5-year maturation in the Shiraz keg.

Charcoal, ash, red wine, grenadine syrup, cranberries, blackberries, red pepper, tiger balm, betaisodona ointment
Korea (red wine with cola), complex, dark currant jelly
Full-bodied, spicy, long
- Nose: Spicy, slightly smoky, some mulled wine, sweet fruit notes, almost jam (even sweeter with water)
In the mouth: strong, smoky, salty, some sour notes. Distinct wine aromas. Very warm and with water even sweeter here. Finish: tart, but with sweetish notes of wine, salty and the peat notes stay long at the end. Conclusion: Unusual whisky. Smoke and salt paired with sweet wine.
- On the nose: peat, smoke, nuts, vanilla, some hay, tagada strawberries and flowers.
On the palate: sweet peat, red fruits, burnt gum, spices, tannins and ginger.
- A good mole, a pleasant combination of oak-lacquer base tone with mint-eucalyptus inclusions and a clear aftertaste for some reason of white wine.
Open, wet, malt, overripe apricots and peaches, pre-foliage, in the background, notes of varnish and solvent, treated wood; wet grain, wet dust, weak, barely perceptible tones of peat and smoke, sweet cotton wool.
A sharp, powerful, wave of pepper and oak, lacquer, mint, herb bitterness - wormwood, motherwort; a young bark, a little caramel, spicy oak, notes of resin and again a furniture varnish.
Spicy with notes of mint and eucalyptus, dry enough with sour, riesling, varnish, resin.
Wonderfully fruity and sweet. Strawberries in custard with a little syrup. With some time in the air, it will gradually spicy and slightly sour. I recognize leather, damp forest soil and a slightly salty hint of smoke.
I like it very much, especially because the smoke is very elegant in the background and the nose develops so excitingly from the sweet bourbon tones to the strong dark red wine notes.
Strong start, even tingling something. Pretty dry from the start, much less sweet than the nose. But still fruity. Very dark forest fruits, maybe black currant. Then it gets nuttier and even slightly salty. Light smoke on the palate.
Medium. Dry with oak.
- Tasting Notes:
- Nose: quite powerful, peat smoke, fighting with sweet bourbonesque sweetness and rich ripe red fruits from the wine cask. perhaps even a bit meaty
Taste: Follows the nose nicely, bit thick and oily. berries, red grapes, bonfire and peaty sweetness
Finish: quite long, but bit dry, makes you longing for another sip.
update: bottle almost empty and it had some time to breath. now it shows much more fattiness and rock like minerals, together with the red wine way more prominent, where the peatiness is more in the background.
