    SMWS Tasting Notes
    Colour: Caribbean sunset
    Flavour: Lightly peated

The first impression is that of a walk on a warm summer’s
evening in a garden with a variety of flowers - with every turn of the head new
aromas delicately trying to get our attention. Next to the flowery notes there
is sweet tobacco leaves, honey brioche and Crème Anglaise. The taste is velvety
and mouth coating like a soft leather glove or melted butter and a lively
finish of peppered strawberries with single cream. With the addition of very
little water we detected a fruity cocktail or fruit punch with cinnamon and
lime. The taste is now of fresh ripe strawberries, star fruit and barley sugar
soaked in rum. Give this make, distilled on the grounds of the Glenlossie
distillery since 1971, time at every stage and you will be richly rewarded.

Drinking Tip: When in need of some sunshine
