A delicate and easy quaffable dram without much complexity. One to drink when I am not in the mood of exploring drams...
The colour is deep copper and the texture shows medium fast legs and sticky tears. The nose offers a light sherry and vanilla-toffee profile with hidden fruits and honeys. Nicely balanced and delicate (and not a single trace of sulphur: What a great cask selection for this batch!).
The taste is vanilla and sherry sweet with some spices and wooden flavours. Again very delicate, but a little simple too.
It arrives smooth and creamy on the palate with no distracting moments (but no significant coating effect either). The finish is of medium length and even sweeter than the taste with a minor drying feeling (papers) at the very end. Water is not needed.
