Whisky Reviews for Caperdonich 1992 BR
6 users have left a review for this whisky and scored it an average of 84.33 points
- A bit rough and in some kind of way youngish because of the taste of fresh apples and melons. Some other fruits too but none of them seem to be ripe.
- N: fresh fruits - melon, pear and peach, pastry, spices, honey, citrus, malty, plums, chocolate and cappuccino
T: bitter fruits - blood orange, honey, malty, later some fudge, fruits - baked apple and creamy
F: creamy turning into again the bitter fruits and some spices
high ABV but lacks power and complexity, looks like a Littlemill to me
- Thick and syrupy, nothing but the nose. Creamy malt. A little apple. With water, vanilla, more malt; Freshness Spicy mouth with a little lack of roundness (especially for this age, more intense with water, malty finish, not bad but quite forgettable.
- On the nose, a waxy, woody taste, and orangey yellow fruits, peppery note in the end
glue, grass, floral side, spices, vanilla and fruits on pear apple
