Like the very early bottling there is a charred wood note at first but there is a little burnt rubber here, not unpleasant but it is there.
There is also some linseed putty, this all sounds a bit bad, but actually it works.
Hint of ginger, very faint orange, light sherry and a hint of apricot.
Pretty good ; lighter than the old bottle.
Bags of spice but not much of anything else, the spice is all front loaded.
There is a nice spicy orange note, hints of blueberry, Turkish delight, milk chocolate, the merest hint of bubblegum, which all sounds nice but there is just not enough of it.
Like the palate, you need just a little bit more but some added sweetness makes a welcome appearance.
