Whisky Reviews for Glenfarclas 25-year-old
4 users have left a review for this whisky and scored it an average of 87.33 points
- Tasted side by side with a Tamdhu 25y old from the same era, hard to say which one was better, won't say this is a hugh sherry-bomb, but it's defenitely in there!
- Sampled this in a line up of Glenfarclas 13 (SMWS bourbon cask), 10, 12, 21, 25, 40, and the 105. I found this mildly less exciting than the 21, due in part to the mint-cherry note that reminded me of candies.
Refined nose. Grape and oak, sweetness, and slight mint.
Sweet mint-cherry and light tannins.
Long finish with mint and grape notes.
