N: Peppery and yeasty with lots of oomph. The bourbon cask influence is unmistakable, Quite Speyside like but this actually shares a fair resemblance to Springbank 18 although nowhere near as complex.
T: Huge arrival bursting in flavour - salivating fruity bourbon notes with lots of raw spirit. Unfortunately theres a lack of development and it it dries too quickly and it gets prickly hot.
F: Fairly two dimensional with a drying and prickly finish indicating a dying cask me thinks.
C: An odd one this, Theres clear cask influence and yet the spirit is outrageously untamed. Its worth trying for the impressive arrival but the rest is out of control, Best stick with the official 16yo.
