- I think the mix of Port and Bowi is great, the fruits that come along complement the otherwise very characteristic Bowmore feeling.
100% Bowmore, black tea, Roiboos also, spine, rosemary, spine, fine sea air in the background, dried blood oranges, some cinnamon, lavender, tannins, thyme, black pepper, chest of drawers
Black tea, sweet ash, spine, old chest of drawers, berry bushes, grapefruit peel, orange peel, pineapple, nutmeg, cinnamon, clove, ivy, leather armchair, dark chocolate, dried raspberries
Dry, very long, warming, pepper, nutmeg, tannins

Quite beautiful fruit longan baked cake...5
Sprinkle a little on the caramel... 1
Smoke is just a light makeup...1
Mature is very beautiful...5
The mellow and thick one is integrated... 5 The mild yellow brown color and the fresh fruit scent gradually appear pear juice. Citrus peel...3
Entrance aroma: (7)
End rhyme: (6)
The entrance can feel the obvious peat... 4
Compared with the aroma taste style, the overall style is quite comfortable. The final tail is like raw chocolate.
Total:( 91-92 )
The performance on the aroma is almost unrecognizable. The fusion is quite good and the taste is very comfortable.
- Good bowmore, the profile is not spoiled port, can on the contrary - underlined
nuts, fruits in chocolate, smoke is very pleasant and combined with other flavors
fruit in honey and with spices, juicy smoke, no soap!
long aftertaste, smoke persists, a note of perfume flashed somewhere far away, but quickly disappeared
- the false note may not afford a 23y at this price
Bowmore did not do it a favor
Overall, however, this whisky is edible
damp flower stems from the vase
clearly the wrong note violet oil again
which sticks unpleasantly to the palate
not as dominant as 17y
very fruity and fresh notes
fruity & salty maritime
feel the violet oil only very fine in the background
- Top class Bowmore, the combo with the peat and port is a magical match????????
Big fruit (a distance away from the glass). Actually nosing, blueberry is prominent. Molasses, smoke/smoked potpourri, possibly smoked whiting.
Tannic/dry. Dark fruit, brown sugar. Smoked caramel.
Toffee. Coffee. Caramelized brown sugar. Smoky, as if the other notes were prepared over a campfire.
