Whisky Reviews for Dew of Ben Nevis Supreme Selection
3 users have left a review for this whisky and scored it an average of 67.44 points
- Of curiosity!
At first it reminds a lot of a Ben Nevis. Complex fruitiness of oranges plus oak, double biscuit with chocolate filling, nuts and crunchy malt. Gradually, an ester-like grain note takes up more and more space and makes the initially solid start appear more and more unbalanced.
Strong portion with full grain aromas, pithy spice and peppery oak. Fruity aromas can be caught in the background.
Long, tart oak and roasted nuts
- Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose: Honey and caramel, barley, a touch of citrus.
Palate: Medium, cereal and grain, a touch of honey. Oaky, a very wistful smoke hangs in the distance.Finish: Short, drying, some caramel.
