- y palate might be off tonight because everything seems to be bitter but there are some nice toffee/caramel notes on this.
caramel waffles, peach, mango, a little honey, fruit pastilles . Gets better with time in the glass
Bitter fruit, honey in the background , buttercream, something nutty, roasted sweet potato's
The bitterness reduces but is still there but I now get some serios toffee notes mixed with a little plum
Decent medium length
- The palate was a bit too bitter most of the time.
Without water:between tinned pineapples and pineapple cream, quinces and dry coconut at the same time pina colada, stewed apples. Excellent fruitiness. Freshly baked cake dough. Water brings out some honey and very little vanilla. Superb Nose. Better without water.
Liquid honey (the industrial supermarket version), a little vanilla, candied apples, very grainy, reminds me of Greenore Single Grain, pale fruit again mostly Apricot, vegetal, quinces and plum brandy. Despite the rather sweet notes the whole is quite bitter with some grassy notes dominating more often than not.
Medium long. Liquorice, unripe tangerines and again quite bitter. Some Marzipan in the aftertaste.
