What I'm smelling is a small part of Islay, captivating, bottled essence of the island, so to speak. Profound genuine peatiness, buttery/lumpy clay? succulence, heaps of peat, creamy grey smoke, India rubber hint, bitumen, iodine (brown algae), olive oil. Bracing humid air, as if witnessing common drizzling rain on the sandy shore, apply warmed creamy malt to it, sultana grapes, vanilla pods. And, by the way, the more you nose it, the sweeter it appears to be.

Fullness, consistence is quite fatty really, a sizzling alcohol, soda?/sherbet, crystallised ginger, herbal decoction on the far end. Mid-palate has been taken up by an opaque thick peat reek, maybe a touch of TCP?, sour lime, orange/tangerine astringency.

Bitter citric outbreak, dusty/sooty, diesel fuel?, orange- and lemon peels/zest, salt/brine?, shellfish, salted pistachios/peanuts.
