Whisky Reviews for Strathisla 2000 IM
4 users have left a review for this whisky and scored it an average of 81.00 points
- Not outstanding, but much better in the nose.
Great nose, very clear after sherry, some alcohol comes through and also some malt and raisins are found.
Not as sweet and soft as he was in his nose. Somewhat spicy, which may indicate a refill. In between a hint of honey.
Spicy first, then it quickly weakens and ends after a short time.
- A suave Speysider.
First, sherry. Orange, malt and a fine nuttiness behind it. Association of lemon peel abrasion.
Oily and sweet. Again rich sherry fruit, nut and malt. Drying.
Mitellang with malt, orange peel and some dark chocolate.
