And I keep wondering if this is Glenfarclas or not...

- this is a verry nice Glenfarclass, fruity, freshness, freshfruityness, nevermind......and some toffee. just great!
- A perfect summer dram. Thank you Whiskybase for the sample.
Whilst I poured a dram into my glass a lovely sweet, fruity and aromatic aroma reached my nostrils. Fresh, spirity, fruity and even a little bit flowery. The perfect smell of summer.
Honeyed apples, apricot jam, cake and yellow flowers on a summer meadow. After a while I smell a little bit of sandalwood as well.
Smooth and balanced with lovely fruity and caramel aromas and an oaky mouthfeel. I cannot taste any sherry, so it is probably from a refill butt, which would explain the fruitiness. Notes of oranges, oak, fudge and white pepper. A little bit young and spirity, but over all the palate is very nice and pleasant.
Quite short, oaky aftertaste with white pepper.
