Whisky Reviews for George Dickel Rye Whisky
3 users have left a review for this whisky and scored it an average of 80.00 points
- Solid & tasty - corn sweetness, vanilla, a bit spicier, briefer, stronger than the no. 12, a hint of minty freshness, in the finish then noticeably pepper. Do not cry for more, but like to drink.
- Generic Notes for a Generic Rye. Spicy, strong, yet tasty and sweetish, an all-Rye, maybe. Still good and tasty, something is missing the tension.
In the nose first sweetish, bourbonlastig, only with time comes the Ryewürze.
In the mouth then heavy, bitter, oak, rye and also a little bit of spiciness, a little bit of alcohol and a lot of pepper
The finish is determined by pepper, oak and rye-seasoning.
- My favorite go-to low cost big taste Rye Whiskey!
