  1. Kantenmechaniker scored this whisky 85 points Connoisseur

after a slow start it got better, but not a bottle that I would put in the house bar
    • Nose
Freshness, a little citrus, vanilla, quince, more dry than sweet, light oak spice, also floral, but now not particularly exciting, to be honest, after the clear pear in the finish you can also find it on the nose, some chocolate, dark, goes but also in a spicy direction, vegetable stock powder, but only subtle
    • Taste
oily, sweeter here, vanilla, slightly grassy, intense, quince, yellow fruit, slightly oak, pepper, more exciting in the mouth, the second sip is totally creamy, also citrus now, dark chocolate, clearly, where was that with the first sip?
    • Finish
warming, a little salt, vanilla, creamy, pear, slightly woody, yes clearly pear now, floury, very pleasant

Waxy and dried fruits, salted minerals, spices and tobacco.
    • Taste
      85 85
Powerful and oily. Fruits, especially apple. Pepper and cinnamon. Vanilla, honey and tobacco. Citruses.
    • Finish
      84 84
      Medium length, spicy.

  4. Ivynor scored this whisky 86 points Expert Senior

A very classic whisky, but well done.
    • Nose
A little mineral, slightly waxy, yellow fruits, tart notes and apple.
    • Taste
Well sweet, quite lively, always tart notes and a dominant of fresh apple and yellow fruit, traces of cinnamon. Alcohol well integrated.
    • Finish
      Cinnamon, wood, fruit, quite long.

  5. Titi94 did not rate this whisky Connoisseur

    Bottler`s Notes :

    Colour : Shiny white gold.

Nose : Soft tobacco, new leather and stewed fruits.

Palate : Oily, malty and spicy with hints of tobacco and smoke. Cracked pepper and creamy vanilla on the finish.

Conclusion : A complex dram and a very unusual Speysider.
