    • Nose
      Tasting blind.

Powerful, smoke tip? A little floral.
    • Taste
Austere, mineral white wine, slightly nutty citrus.
Evokes a fine version of Ben Nevis
    • Finish
      Fine and elegant.

      Enthusiasm 3/5

      Whisky n ° 2000. TWO THOUSAND ! :-)

Line Up of 23/03/19 to the blind. 1/11
    • Nose
I have smoked meat with herbs. There is also a little bit of wax, honey and vanilla. Behind appears a hint of red fruits.
    • Taste
Nice freshness, a very vegetal and peppery mouth.
    • Finish
Classic, vanilla, woody, sweet spices ... very vegetal.

  3. Jeep51 scored this whisky 81 points Expert Senior

    • Nose
Very vegetal. Aromatic herb, mainly thyme. A citrus tip.
    • Taste
Alcohol of fruit, vanilla, pastry, herbaceous but unbalanced by alcohol.
    • Finish
      Rather long but too hot

Yep, the lads from <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Chester are doing a great job. I am actually
looking forward to their first Toshan, but that is another story. This great
Tomatin will set you back about 75 EUR.
    • Nose
The nose is creamy, almost fat. Farmer butter,
      Wertherâ€
    • Taste
On the palate it is very, very, very soft. Nutmeg and liquorice pave the way for all kinds of sweet fruit. Honey
and heather are never far off. Midpalate it turns bittersweet as if from
      grapefruit.
    • Finish
That continues on into the medium long finish, which
dies on oak, spices and the ever present honey.
