- Fresh sweet sherry aromas with strong sulfur and phosphorus notes to it.
- Not old. Not complex. But very aromatic ... Hmmm
The 12 years is coming soon. Time to test the classic.
Soft aroma. Sherry and wood. A little vanilla after the first sip.
The entrance is gentle, not overwhelming, and quite aromatic. Raisins, furry and dry. The sherry is clear. One of the few distilleries to work exclusively with sherry casks. Paying off...
Medium long and fruity.
- Give this whisky time with a few drops of water to open.
Elastics, fudge, vanilla, cinnamon, cherries, sweet sherry, raisins, chocolate, mandarins and honeydrop.
Fudge, vanilla, cinnamon, chocolate, cherry, raisins, walnuts, mandarins and honeydrop.
Medium, creamy, raisins, fudge, dark fruit, hint of citrus and hint of nuts.
Layer of sherry that can't be miss, interesting gun powder and
liquorice candy. Some not so "welcoming" caramel that you know what I
meant. Rusty notes developed and stays with some charred notes. P- Cherry sweet and spicy, malty, pancake. Nutty and buttery with
lifted taste of obvious caramel, some burns sugary wood, lacking
F- Medium and
rough coats, resinous, caramel and lasting spiciness. Some nice charred
orange and sweet fruits, but lack body to gel some of the good
components together. Could be better, but rather basic.

- It's not bad, but I think it would benefit a couple of extra pounds of alcohol. That's how it tastes a bit thin and not as striking as it might be
Very full of smell, where the prime plays vanilla, raisins, chocolate biscuits, green apples, unripe pears and a little bit of cinnamon
Again, chocolate, good chocolate with vanilla, raisins, oranges, lemons and the whole is sprinkled with cocoa
In the reverberation, it smells like malt, caramel and a little cinnamon at the end. Dozvuk is quite long
- Tasty whisky with clear sherry influences. Chocolate comes back in both the smell, body and finish. Great 'daily dram'.
