Advent calendar Blindtasting: No more than smoke & medicine, characterless, the finish is reasonably acceptable.
    • Nose
      60 60
Medicine & smoke then for a long time nothing more ...
A little later medicine, iodine, smoke, steak, hay, maybe a min, light fruitiness in the background
    • Taste
      70 70
First, rather soft and fruity, then develops a bit stronger with plenty of pepper
    • Finish
      75 75
Medium, smoky, medium explosiveness, slight bitterness

For friends of the heartier and edgier Bunnas is definitely something!
    • Nose
Uiii, nice meaty, roasted ham, beef, maritimes salt breaded on the steak, with black pepper, autumn leaves, herbal honey with thyme and rosemary and oregano, vanilla, oak chips, peach
    • Taste
Cocooned oak chips, autumn leaves, damming, dry wood, licorice, burnt pepper, herbal honey with oregano and thyme, bacon, some smoke at the back, a hint of dried peach in between, burnt brown sugar, quite rustic with a lot of maritime salt in between
    • Finish
Light malt, tasty hearty, ham, ashes, washed-up wood, salt, peach, honey, medium-long, smoke remains nice meaty back

Quite a nice peaty Bunna, with a sweet twist.
    • Nose
The nose is peaty indeed, but not overly so. Surprisingly sweet though. Dark and sweet, in fact. It is obvious that some sherry casks were used. Candied fruit, walnuts, roast beef and… errr… chicken broth. Some maritime elements, but not overly so either. Fish nor flesh, to be honest.
    • Taste
The body is rather soft, but with a lot more peat now, but also a lot more sweetness. Ship’s rope, sweet barley sugars, burnt wood, liquorice (and a lot of it!) and mildly herbal. This is more like it. Midplate a salty edge kicks in. The smoke becomes bigger too.
    • Finish
The finish is medium long and sweet, while the smoke gently fades. Somewhat drying effect.
