- It is a little rough at first and bitter but the honey and fruit grows over time but there is still some bitterness in the tail. The nose is the best part.
- It's very light on the nose, but on the taste is heavier.
Flower honeys, citruses, banana and melon
Spices, tannic oak, blueberry and ginger
Medium length, spicy, woody
- Not as stunning as those 2000 sherry matured Macduff. The nose is light and clean, the palate more heavy and complex.
Fresh and fruity. Citrus fruit, melon and pear. Grassy notes of hay as well. Almonds.
Malty. Not as fruity as on the nose. Instead more delicate and gentle oakiness developing into more bitterness. Later on cinnamon and ginger. Also nutiness.
Medium long. Influence of the wood remains. Lightly spiced.
