- Beautiful red wine in the mouth, which can be caught quickly and overtaken by salted butter caramel. The mouth is very in tune with the nose, with spices and more. A little green down, a little lack of roundness, but the sweetness eventually come back. Nice final. Enthusiasm 3/5
- Another interesting maturation by Edradour. This one is marching in the sweet fruits meet different berries direction.
Concerning price/performance ratio: 8/10
Sweet wine (may be Burgundy), dried fruits, sweet ripe fruits, plums, berries (jam), some vanilla.
Sweet wine (may be Burgundy, some PX notes), dried fruits, ripe plums, sweet honey.
Medium. Fruits and oak.
- Not the best Edradour so far. The grain dominates in the nose. On the palate, the barrel influence is clearly too strong and the Brennereicharakter remains something on the track - 15.07.2017
Wine notes are clearly visible, malt, marshmellows, bacon, grain, cereals, spicy, eukal, chamomile, rosehip, some vanilla, starch
Sweet, malty, watery texture, tea, it spreads for a short time dryness, ginger, forest honey, significant red wine influence but little barrel wort, a touch Lackritz, rather Lackritz bats
Quite an interresting notes, with a good body which you would expect from a red wine cask.
red fruits and vanilla are present, with a little bit of that sour edradour nose.
Not as good as the nose. Some red fruits and quite some wood notes. But dry.
Not that long and rather dry.
Tunnock's Caramel bars, vanilla, slightly malty
Thick, quite sweet with caramel and creamy vinous
Vanilla, new leather and some green notes, hint of
