Whisky Reviews for Bowmore 1997 TWA

10 users have left a review for this whisky and scored it an average of 88.30 points

  1. Stanzeflasche scored this whisky 89 points Expert Senior

Mountain honey, fairly clear. Thick peat, limestone, earthy rock, gypsum. The edge of a beach with a lot of seaweed. Vase. Sea breeze. Fresh iodine. Coarse salt. Hint of exotic fruits, pineapple, banana. Fairly strong smoke, cigarette ash. Caramel and eucalyptus candy. In the mouth, the spices are there at the start. Licorice and vanilla. Warm tones, blood orange, blackcurrant. Black pepper. Anise-flavored finish, muscular without being explosive, but sufficiently long, woody, slightly earthy, with more liquorice.
