Whisky Reviews for Glenallachie 2004 TF

1 users have left a review for this whisky and scored it an average of 82.25 points

  1. Calmar scored this whisky 83 points Connoisseur

A very young, strong mole, and the fortress here quite successfully compensates for the immaturity and lack of depth, the profile is quite typical, the oak-grain in combination with the bourbon barrel, in the end - strong, in all senses, the middle peasant.
    • Nose
Clear, moist, the first nose - a raw barrel, grain, moonshine; treated board, carpeting notes, thinner, a little resin, herbal shades, light mineral motifs.
    • Taste
Powerful, mobile, oak, resin, sweet pepper wave, sweet creamy confectionery notes, light bitterness of young bark, a little dry herbs.
    • Finish
Oak-grassy with a light bitterness, mint, eucalyptus, light caramel sweetness.
