(24/ 25) Incredibly well balanced. Overall a very solid whisky, definitely something worth keeping around if the price is right.
( 22/25) A hint of toasted oak, light spices, dried apples, dried cranberries, coconut and pineapple.
( 21/25) Apparent coconut and honey from the get go. Sweet and simple, distinctively glenlivet*, but definitely deeper warmer flavors than the typical 12. *Sometimes it is easy to identify a definitive distillery profile, and I have a hard time putting words to it, but this has the same thread of tastes that I have had through many bottles of the 12 yo OB, a first fill sherry IB, and 16yo CS Nadurra. I think it is characterized by the sweet refreshing tropical flavors, often lead by coconut and vanilla.
( 22/25) Honey over Toasted grains, vanilla and toasted coconut.
