N: Yeasty, peppery, meaty/malty freshness. Some rich sugared barley coming through with quality spirit evident but overall its a little dull and generic
T: All sorts of malty sugars on arrival, then some sweet/woody/herbal freshness followed by [an almost sherry cask] sweetness.
F: The bourbon wood sugars then flood through quickly followed by a light aniseed freshness which compliment the sweetness nicely. Later, a greener herbal freshness comes through before some yummy creamy vanillas. Its a long ‘photo finish’.
C: I wasn’t expecting much after the nose but this is a sweet treat with an engaging fresher end game. Admittedly the sugars on the palate are quite cloying so a whole bottle may be an ask, but the finish is great.
