2cl blind tasting: Mhh what is that? I had both sherry and bourbon barrels the last time in the glass, which had such a nose in the way. I still tend to Bourboncask. Origin - mhh this minerally sour note could be a Springbank / Clynelish from 20y. Age is extremely difficult for me - Alcohol content too - I'll say 47% I like the nose very much - on the palate he does not quite come along. Up to 80 € would probably be a bargain - more than 100 € I just would not give it loose. Where do you always bring these exotic noses? : smile: Thank you
    • Nose
cold: behavioral, dusty, atomized citrus oil over chalk dust floating in the air, grainy
lukewarm: first exotic sweetish - but then rather sour - lime, lemon, orange with fresh mint, with some pineapple, a slightly mineral note mixed with lemon drops and delicate light oak, the nose looks fresh and sparkling and very exotic fruity - is not so dense and heavy but above all warmed attracting.
    • Taste
subtle sweetness is in competition with a slightly mineral, dusty pasty acid, which is accompanied by light herbal spicy oak. I always feel like I have some flour or better chalky drilling dust on my tongue - that does not bother the enjoyment - but it is remarkable. There is a lot of lemon, with shell, fresh mint, grapefruit peel - both the citrus oils and typical bitterness which remains in a pleasant setting.
    • Finish
mineral, super-delicate chocolate note, very multi-faceted oak flavor, light mushroom note, not dry, medium-long

Aah, I like it when you still clearly recognize Brennereicharakter after 30Y and this rarer, Central European fruit bombs I like even more, with a touch less alcohol in the mouth he would have gone over 90 ...
    • Nose
Typical great woody fruitiness of Dailuaine, looks anything but 30Y old, but has beautiful pickled Williams pear, some calvados, herbal honey, forest floor covered with moss, light dew, also heath meadow here, some flowers, vanilla
    • Taste
Still extremely pickled the pear and apple compote from the nose, wow, I rarely had so strong, but unfortunately also an alcohol note, just really like freshly fired the fruits, tikidrinks, vanilla, forest honey, flower meadow, cinnamon, toffee, fruit drops , also lemon ice cream, very interesting fruit taste
    • Finish
Now comes a hint of middle-aged oak chips, a light, pleasant malt, vanilla and honey still and above all the pear and apple peel, dry fruity and medium to long
