  1. monsieurrouge did not rate this whisky Member Senior

Seems a weird bottling, incomplete taste. This is not what I am concerned.
    • Nose
      Nice, not pleasant
    • Taste
Acid taste, apple ?, slightly pointy, not full, although there is some complexity in it, but too far away.
    • Finish
      Light finish, again the acidic.

One of them whiskies that you wait something to happen but nothing does happen simply because of the low ABV.
I guess thats why that distillery's production is so cheap, no matter how old the bottling. Actually, overall is underrated among the Highland distilleries.

  4. TomAndIngrid scored this whisky 83 points Expert Senior

Had an early bottling (80s ... 90s?) For the Italian market (same EAN number) on a mild summer evening in the glass. Light and comfortable.

    • Nose
Sweetish, glue, a bit of flowers, toffee, grass.
    • Taste
Malty, a bit of sweetness, light, a bit feinty, gets drier quite quickly.
    • Finish
Malt, oak, a bit of dry hay, gets even drier.

  7. Allandale scored this whisky 76 points Connoisseur

    A medium ,firm oiliness body.
    • Nose
      Soft,lemony,malty, sweetish.
    • Taste
Full with clean,grassy-malty,buttery sweetness.Medium sweet. it develops to a fruity, certain Chardonnay-like wineyness.
    • Finish
Sweetish, fragrant, appetizing, big. Vanilla -pod spiciness.

  8. Malt Hans scored this whisky 74 points Connoisseur

Fruity and malty aroma, roasted chestnuts, orange juice, lavender and vanilla. Floral honey sweet taste, burnt almonds, toffee, pepper, nutmeg and malt. Rather short, malty and spicy end.

  9. Feusi scored this whisky 72 points Connoisseur

In the nose quiet and unspectacular. Dry with little character on the palate stuck a few more bitter nuances.
