Whisky Reviews for Convalmore 1969 GM

1 users have left a review for this whisky and scored it an average of 83.33 points

  1. MaltMartin scored this whisky 82 points Connoisseur

The nose has a dusty sweetness which is typical in old whisky's bottled before the 1990's and which is uncommon these days. How is it possible that the late Michael Jackson just scored this whisky at 68 points in 1989?
    • Nose
Malty and grainy. Dusty sweetness of melon and pear. Grassy notes as well. Old wood. Whiff of smoke.
    • Taste
Amazingly juicy and fruity. Peach and apricot. Slightly syrupy. Beeswax and polished oak. Pine. Some metalic notes (OBE?).
    • Finish
Medium long. Dryness. Ginger and liquorice. Some spices of pepper and nutmeg.
