Turf, motorola, vanilla on appeal
Peat and licorice, but also sweetness. Citrus and honey
Mid-length. Honey and vanilla
Peat smoke, sweetness and raisins are the first thing in my nose, followed by dark red grapes and nut oil before medical notes of iodine and mouthwash gain the upper hand. A maritime touch of seaweed and sea air wafts in the background.
It spreads creamy, sweet in the mouth before strong tobacco smoke and peppery notes suddenly come to the fore. Vanilla, caramel and light chocolate notes defy the smoke
Drying. Cooling smoke and a light pepperiness form the foreground, while citrus notes and sultanas are noticeable in the background.
- There are a couple of young barrels here, no question. But he is well-balanced despite his youth, provides the tongue with a decent portion of smoke, has a slightly fruity component, without this looks set. And then this price - you really can not complain.
He does not hold back, no signs of shyness in his nose. Nice kräfiger, spicy smoke. First in the direction of smoked (Black Forest ham), then becoming maritime. Behind it a sweet note as from baked apples with cinnamon and sugar.
As expected, strong start with heavy dry smoke. Although 58%, it is not too strong or unbalanced to keep it from rolling over the tongue. Pepper and hot paprika powder give it flavor, red ripe apples provide a fruity balance. Over time, slightly bitter herbs, and dark chocolate. It stays dry all the time, the smoke fills the mouth all the time.
Medium long, still dry, tearing and still with spicy spicy smokes.
- Subtle peat with fruits and some leather. I like this stuff.
Vanilla, toffee, peat, some diesel, a lot of fruity notes, tropical fruits, banana, creamy. Some leather, chocolate and red fruits
First a big hit of the alcohol, creamy, citric notes, peat, leather, chocolate, red fruits and a fresh note at the end, rather minty
Slightly bitter and drying, citric with peat
