    Blenders Glass.
1991-1992 are the best years of distillation at Glen Keith in my opinion, and this malt confirms that. An excellent example of a light complex healing kitty. B22

    • Nose
Chic nose, creamy, waxy, fresh apples, vanilla, lemon peel, licorice 22
    • Taste
The taste is sweet and spicy, candy with licorice, anise and mint. 22
    • Finish
Long-lasting aftertaste, licorice and hot pepper 22

pleasant fruit basket, unspectacular typical Speysider from the Bourbon barrel - with 21 years I would have expected more depth and intensity
    • Nose
Peach, some glue, after a few minutes in the glass joins citrus and ripe apples
    • Taste
Apples and pears, pineapple, vanilla - with the addition of a drop of water, it becomes slightly fuller and slightly spicy oak comes out
    • Finish
fruity, spicy - short for his age

Complacent! Be careful with water - a few drops are very good, but it watered down very quickly. Is an eagle owl (under hundred €), but you can not complain!
    • Nose
Pineapple, acacia honey, hay, red apple, kiwi, some sugar caramel. With hand warmth also some pipe tobacco, vanilla. The alcohol is barely perceptible. So the smell makes you want more!
    • Taste
The alcohol looks like pepper, otherwise sweet. Without water, too much sharpness, with water it is beautiful sweet-fruity-woody!
    • Finish
Warm in any case! Some walnut. The honey stays in the mouth for a long time. After a while I have the feeling of smoke in my mouth.

The nose scores highest, there are lot´s of fruits to discover.
The taste stays a little back an the finish is in between.
Over all it´s a quite likeable Geln Keith.
I´ll go mainstream and score it 86.
    • Nose
Green apple, tropical fruits, honey, yellow melon, hints of green tea, a little cereals or mineraly.
A nice fruity Bourbon Hogshead nose. Every time i swivel the my glas the nose tells a little different storry. Thumbs up!
    • Taste
Cereals and Malt, quite some alcohol, clearly apple again, not even colse to the fruitines of the nose. Herbes showing up and a nice impression of woodinfluence.
It´s good, but can´t keep up with the nose.
    • Finish
Sweet, the Apple wont let it go, a perfect breeze of wooden bitternes, oily feeling, medium long with more and more clove to the end.
      Yep, quite a good finish

  8. Bishlouk scored this whisky 87 points Connoisseur

A whisky very accessible, easy, pleasant, to drink without asking questions and just for fun.
    • Nose
Very fresh and very fruity, on green fruits.
    • Taste
Sweet and fruity on stewed apricots.
    • Finish
      Average, it flows alone.

  9. SilentStill scored this whisky 86 points Expert Senior

Successful Glen Keith, who offers above all clearly accentuated aromas in the nose and presented on the palate as a bit stronger and tart than the nose would suggest.
    • Nose
Lemon wedges and white wine cream. After a while, something green apple and already older leather.
    • Taste
Quite soft on the palate with sufficient strength. Again, the apple, including a very gentle woody note and a tart spice.
    • Finish
The spice stays and it is quite long.

    Very elegant
    and fruity. Recommended
    • Nose
Fruity notes of banana, citrus and mango.
Additional spicy notes of fresh oak, vanilla and cinnamon. Elegant nose.
    • Taste
Fruity and increasingly spicy with vanilla,
      pepper and oak
    • Finish
      Long, dry, slightly oaky
