Whisky Reviews for Ledaig 2005 W-F
4 users have left a review for this whisky and scored it an average of 87.71 points
- Nose on a peat very clear rather focused on the smoke, small side farmer. Oily mouth dominated by a powerful peat, very well integrated alcohol. Long finale on the smoke. Simple but very effective.
- straw color, very expressive nose, big lemon peat, farmhouse, green fruits (apple, pear especially) that are quite young. The mouth is in the same register, very peaty, farmhouse (but less than the Whiskyman Age Matters), slightly iodized, powerful but the alcohol is perfectly integrated. Very good length. Another good Ledaig, just missing a few years and a little complexity.
- A superb whisky, very good. Beautiful discovery.
Very fresh and fruity (yellow fruits)) with peat on top. A very beautiful nose that we do not tire of.
Powerful and well built even if the alcohol level is well managed. Peat is present without crushing the rest. Quite complex in terms of flavors.
Very nice ending that lasts ... and leaves like a note of dark chocolate a bit bitter at the bottom of the palace.
