- http://kaypingers-whiskyblog.de/frontend/fullarticle.php?id=277 Color: white wine / sunlight Nose: Fruit mousse with aromas of juicy orange, mango and papaya. In addition subordinated leather and provided with salty wort sweetness of honey and caramel. Occasionally occurring lemon tips are steamed by sweet honey. Taste: Soft, salty, with delicate herbs and little fruit (some papaya). Getting more and more aggressive with a herbal mud of mint and Chinese grass as well as emerging wood. Overall, slightly green and fresh. Finish: Short to medium - Mint and wood dominate the finish. Bittersweet and with the "few" notes of taste fade away. 85 points (nose: 89 / taste: 85 / finish: 81)
- Glen Grant 1992-2013, 20 years, 50.4%
Extension: Bourbon barrel
Region: Speyside, Scotland
Nose: Beeswax and honey in the first impression, followed by juicy peach flavors, also a little pear. Very appetizing! This is followed by a light mint note and other kitchen herbs, next to the oak is present with its slightly tingling spice. Caramel and mild vanilla round off.
Palate: Fruity, sweet and with many apples. In addition, pear and peach, some dried apricot, a trace of spices (including nutmeg, cloves and cinnamon). Nevertheless, only slightly spicy, almost creamy with the fruits.
Finish: Long and malty, significantly more spice, the fruit is displaced. Nuts appear next to the malt.
Conclusion: A nice interplay, not unlike the signatory barrels from the year 92.
86/100 points (tasted 2015)

- Single sample.
Acetone, apples, pears, barley, cider. Turns creamier - apple pie, vanilla ice-cream, and a candy-like sweetness.
Clean, fresh and sweet. Apples, vanilla, barley, spice.
Medium long. Mainly barley and spice.
- straw color, expressive nose, very fresh, very vanilla, green fruits. Mouth thick, slightly sweet and greedy, very sweet, vanilla, honey, apricot, apple, less cool than the nose. Fairly good length on vanilla and spices. A classic and gourmet cask bourbon, very easy but a bit simple.
Malt, lemon, bubble gum. White wine. Slight note of wax. Eucalyptus.
Oily, particularly sweet. Expressive. Beer and yeast. Malt, honey.
Long and soft.
