- Rather tart toward the death, but otherwise a well-made and appropriately intense budget malt for lovers of fruity, spicy Highland whiskies.
- So, now the bottle is empty. Was OK, but will not be remembered.
The nose is tasty. Wine, red fruit, floral, lemongrass. Behind it Fudge, Vanilla, Kandis.
Sweet. Red fruit, malt, vanilla, some citrus and fudge.
Short and dry. Sweet.
- He was present as a gift when ordering. Did not pick me up especially. A standard finish.
Light fruits with vanilla in the background. Wine smell.
Oranges in nut in vanilla pudding. Fully ok. Peppered bread. Some herbs in the background.
Long finish with spice almonds in gingerbread. That was it.
- Great, if not complex entry into the red wine finishes.
Direct intense intense red berries and grapes, a corresponding sweetness and a lot of caramel and vanilla. Immediately afterwards comes milk chocolate, which lasts a long time. At the end, a little spice comes along. Hardly alcohol in the nose ... The wine from the barrel left a strong aroma in the probably very short finish.
On the tongue mild and pleasantly full. Directly come the red berries, as is the chocolate. Very voluminous and sweet, on the tongue and in the back cheek then very dry. Here comes the barrel again. Warm and sweet on the palate.
Long, warm finish. The sweetness is still there. The milk chocolate changes slightly to dark. The dryness is less. No unpleasant bitterness and hardly any alcohol.
