[Pronounced] Tulli-Bardin is a really fascinating distillery, one that produces just 150.000 litres a year. That's peanuts in comparison to nearby giants such as Blair Athol [3,000,000 litres]. The distillery itself is, shall we say ‘battle worn’ - and I really like it for that. The warehouse is secured by a large heavy door and a gate inscribed with the message ‘Weesht John and Angels at work’. And then there's the dunnage warehouse area in a double apex building with no support in the middle! Distressed concrete means it holds itself up, making for a dramtic, moody and memorable atmosphere inside - cracking!!
N & T: Easy one this - smells and tastes like new-make spirit, so uber-young. So that's a neutral spirit on light cereal and even lighter fruits.
C: Exactly what you'd be asked to produce for blends - good, neutral spirit I'd imagine. Nothing else to say. Let's try the Burgandy finished NAS Tullibardin[e] WB
