It has a nice intrinsic subtlety all through, complexity of course, superbly refined, harmonious, delicate on the palate, - what can I say, it tastes... delicious really!
First come red currants, cranberries, pomegranate(!), giving good promise already, lingonberry?, cherries, blossom dust, caramel apple after that, in the middle dried sultanas, date, cocoa butter, shortcake, also lemon rind, nutmeg. Wait for a few minutes and it will bring out more vanillin, figs, glacé fruit.
In contrast to apparent mellowness there's a modest crispiness to it, inoffensive and quite pleasant. Every now and again I caught remote resemblance to spiced rum, bourbon or rye even. The flavour is full, complex, dynamic. A little chalky (limestone), oak dust, nutmeg, fig, add a slightest smack of rubber, mango?, salty soda crackers, tiramisu, café mocha, cinnamon, white chocolate.
An extended warming feeling with emphasis on vanillic creaminess (meringue tart?), kiwifruit acidity and blear lemony infusion. Besides a dash of pepper, ginger, droplets of lime juice dispersed over toasted almonds.
