Nose: Smoky, aromatic, floral, slightly mineral, on graphite
and some citrus.
Taste: Aromatic, smoky, slightly peaty, mineral and citric,
with a touch of humus, graphite and grapefruit. With time, it becomes slightly
oaky and peaty, with an additional lemon twist, some charcoal and ginger. The
finish is medium to long, smoky, slightly peaty, aromatic, slightly citric and
mineral, with some humus and charcoal.
Impression: A very nice Glen Garioch,
rather close to an old style Glen Garioch with its austerity, smokiness,
aromatic and citric notes. Most enjoyable. Thank you Filipo.
