- In fact, no excitement, but a nice, fresh Speysider, the age comes only at second glance on the track. I like it.
Nice fresh, bright fruit, some citrus, some honey and a good momentum oak, which throws a light mustiness in the otherwise very fresh and youthful smelling malt.
Powerful, alcoholic tingling, sweet and fruity with a slight bitterness.
getting bitter, but still with some vanilla and a nice bright fruit sweetness. Over time, the tart adds a nice minerality and a touch of smoke (not peat).
- Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose: Rich notes of greengages and tangy citrus. Hints of allspice and barley malt.Palate: The palate offers up winter spices and brandy butter. A touch of toffee apple and candied peel.Finish: Boiled sweets, allspice and dried herbs.
- Bottler`s Notes:
Nose: Aromatic and citric - Fresh and clean with a greengrocer style.
Palate: Frucitferously toffee`d plus creamy butter, spices and butterscotch.
Finish: More vanilla plus orange zest, hard candy, camphor and oak.
