  1. Dram Brigade scored this whisky 79 points Expert Junior

That single malt that gets many into world of whisky. Simple but always a good drink with friends.

Taste profile of pear and green apple infused water, with some commercialize honey products mix together.

  4. Matt80 scored this whisky 82 points Expert Senior

    • Nose
Pear, apple, restrained malt, wood, oak. Over time there are overtones of light toffee, very clean, a touch of butter, lime.

With water - There is some grass, mild citrus, vanilla.
    • Taste
A little acidic, mild oak, some apple, a little wood spice, vanilla.

With water - An already restrained palate is toned down even more, a touch spicier
    • Finish
Medium, vanilla, oak that leaves a slight sweetness.

      With water - Citrus, spice.

  6. TastyDram did not rate this whisky Expert Junior

A more than decent product. Classy bottle design, nicely balanced flavors and beautiful in its simplicity. And yet that's what makes this dram a bit boring. Or is it just my natural preference for the underdog (read: smaller scale distilleries) manifesting itself...
    • Nose
Vanilla and oak are dominating the glass. Water unleashes the fruitiness. I'm thinking of cooking pears and green apples.
    • Taste
Not many surprises here. Once again an overdose of vanilla. With a bit of effort you'll discover some coconut and apples. Quite a nice balance but anything but breathtaking.
    • Finish
Short and dry. Exactly what you're expecting from an appetizer.
