Whisky Reviews for Tomatin 1993 WW8
3 users have left a review for this whisky and scored it an average of 84.50 points
- Nose sweet, finely woody and fruity, a bit of vanilla, with a little pineapple maybe. The mouth is very consistent with the nose in terms of aromas, quite muscular. The addition of water exalts citrus on the nose and spices in the mouth, without calming the overall ardor of the dram. I think it lacks a bit of roundness for 19 years spent in cask. Enthusiasm 3/5
- not quite my profile, all in all not too bad but there are thousands of expressions like this one.
very spirity and buttery, cookies, vanilla.
sticky toffee pudding, a little honey. a wee smokiness.
I find the nose a little unharmonious and bland although I have to admit it gets better with time in the glass.
waxy arrival with apples and some honey, malty and a little sweet. a nice nuttiness.
medium to long, spicy and a little woody.
