Colour:
Oloroso sherry / mahogany
Nose:
Salty-spicy-hot start! Full of sherry with powerful wood influence. There are leather, floor wax, furniture polish, tough rubber, tobacco, liquorice, chocolate, unsweetened mocha, raisins and nuts. Unefinable fruit flavors run underground, as they have nothing to oppose against this overpowering, by the bank dark initial flavors - dark-herbaceous-spicy woody!
Taste:
Soft-spicy and sweet! Now it's getting weird: the salty woody notes are immense and on the other hand a little harmonious, but extreme sweetness beats - Krass! Furniture polish, young green wood, extremely tart herbs, tannins until you drop and then this sugar sweetness - heaven & hell!
Finish:
Medium to long - woody, dry fresh and the extreme sweetness sounds now. Dark chocolate, mocha, espresso, nut, liquorice and notes of black olives stick to the tongue.
Comment:
The really weird thing about this malt is the little fitting and extreme sweetness, which is not even in the nose.
