  1. Robinzon25 scored this whisky 81 points Connoisseur

Unusual, sometimes unbalanced and even a little sharp, but generally good whisky, leaving a positive impression.
    • Nose
It is quite intense, fresh, with a high content of spices, malt notes (sweet crust of bread), raisins, sour apples (antonovka) and lemon zest. Deeper - basement damp, moss, woody tones.
    • Taste
Sweet and sour and, at the same time, slightly salted, combining shades of grapefruit, cherries, apple seeds, dried apricots and crumb of brown bread.
    • Finish
Short, but bright, a little sharp. I feel rye bread, sunflower oil, salt. Next up is candied plum jam, dry tannins and grape seeds with bitterness.

  3. Boletus did not rate this whisky Connoisseur

This is a comparatively young and expressive malt that leaves a very pleasing impression. Has volume, a very pleasant distillery character and barrels that contribute distinct aromas. Really well done!
    • Nose
Very buttery, ripe fruits like bananas and pineapples, apples and pears, strong vanilla, ''Raffaello'' coconut-almond sweets, apricots, lemon zest
    • Taste
Creamy buttery and quite sweet, tangerines, "banana split", pineapple, rich vanilla, mild toasted oak, mint toffee, white chocolate with grated coconut, spices form around apples and pears, aniseed, a squeeze of lemon and orange, the juicy barley works lively
    • Finish
Medium length, creating a buttery mouthfeel, marzipan, aniseed, caramel, crisp mint, a hint of milk coffee, subtle sparkling oak, toasted vanilla remains, apricots and pears are also present

Odor: German Banana, including dec. Pear tones, green apple, unfortunately there is always a solvent note, alcohol present, grain notes, malty, pure

Palate: malty sweetness with alcohol note, again according to grainy, warm base note, avg. Reverberation, unfortunately again with alcoholic heat

Color: lightening copper gold, narrow WR, clear

Conclusion: Even if the alcohol notes are already present in the nose, they are still packed here by the fruit notes. Unfortunately, it doesn't work that well on the palate!

Whisky is very harsh, although after breathing a little faster, it leaves a sweet aroma, including bubble gum.

more complex and with a more "heavy" body than the 12yo

one of those you can sit and ponder upon, or just drink and enjoy
    • Nose
fresh lemonade, green apple juice, a little nutty Toblerone
    • Taste
orange, lemon zest, old leather, something more interesting that I can't really pin out
    • Finish
quite long, sweet toffee, mild pepper, dry

  12. granella2003 scored this whisky 83 points Connoisseur

    • Nose
Sweet and spicy with honey and butterscotch closely
followed by oranges and lemons. Rich vanilla is punctuated by green apples.
Subtle hints of leather and chocolate float in the background. Complex and
      satisfying.
    • Taste
Honey, vanilla cheesecake and caramel sweetness are
followed by bright notes of pear drops, freshly squeezed lemons and coconut.
    • Finish
The finish is long and sweet with hints of toffee and spices.
