- A beautiful matured typical fruity Speysider
A yellow fruit basket: mirabelles, apricots, peaches, plums, mangoes, honey, fully ripe pear, a bit grassy, menthol
Lots of oak, resin, peach compote, honey bread
Fruity and medium length
- I really love this bottle and I wonder a bit why the ratings are relatively low. perhaps I have been a little enthusiastic in my first rating (92) today I would not rate so high but yes, 90/100
a malty, honeyed and slightly waxy profile that I really enjoy. somehow a dusty feeling. apples and nuts. mild oak. a spoonful of porridge.
very sharp when undiluted, I really need water:
wood spices, polished wood. beeswax, honey, apple pie, lots of nuts, milk chocolate and soft oak.
very creamy mouthfeel.
rather long, honey and danish pastry
A little lemon and some mild toffee notes.
There are also a few nutty notes
The first thing I notice is how dry it is and then some bitterness mixed in with grassy notes.
Biscuits and cream plus some kiwi fruit
Medium length, getting sweeter
- Lots of fruit on the nose, lots of wood on the tongue. Diversified.
A fruity nose. At the beginning: peach, apricot, tangerines, mangos. Later, add oranges. Bitter almond and herbs.
Woody and earthy, preserved peaches. Strong oak aroma. Hazelnut flavor, bitter almond, orange peel.
Long and with oranges fading out.
