    f
    Mighty whisky. Duncan
Taylor also bottled a few sister casks.
    • Nose
      The nose is
wonderfully sweet and mineral at the same time. The fruit is mostly orange
marmalade, while quite a few floral elements can be discovered as well.
Violets, freshly cut grass and roses. The oak kicks in from the start. Some
vanilla and coconut. Very nice start.
    • Taste
      Despite the high ABV,
it arrives fairly soft on the palate. Immediately very fruity. Apart from the
oranges, I also get Pink Ladies, lemon, pear, peach, figs, rhubarb and walnuts
(is that fruit?). Pineapple if you look for it. Mildly bitter as if from a
fruit tea that has been in the glass too long, but certainly within the
      acceptable.
    • Finish
      The finish is long
and sweet, with a touch of pepper, ginger and liquorice.
