Whisky Reviews for Invergordon 1973 MoS

2 users have left a review for this whisky and scored it an average of 86.41 points

  1. fgg scored this whisky 92 points Expert Senior

Even immediately after pouring, this grain is a nice dram. But even this comes even better after an hour. An absolute winner witness the good score.
    Score: 88-92
    • Nose
Immediately after pouring: Strong nose. Of course glue again. In addition, some licorice, sweetness. Far away a nut and some chocolate. After more than one hour: The nose remains strong, the glue remains present. With other grains, it will sometimes go to the background. Still sweet, but there is also a bit of bitterness.
    • Taste
Immediately after pouring: In the taste the nut and the chocolate come out stronger, the glue falls back to the background. Very soft, despite the ABV. Soft, slightly creamy. After more than an hour: The bitterness comes a little further. Still sweet. Heavy citrus, but also some wood.
    • Finish
Immediately after pouring: Short. After more than an hour: Medium to long
